Although you might not be visiting any haunted houses this Halloween, there's no reason why you and your child can't cast a spooky spell over your own home!
Have a go at making these simple, toilet roll mummies together.
You will need:
- Cardboard toilet rolls
- Black paint or a black colouring pen
- Paintbrush
- Googly eyes
- Bandage
- Scissors
- Glue
Method:
Step 1
Grab as many cardboard toilet rolls as you would like
Step 2
Help your child to paint or colour the tube black, then leave it to dry for a few hours or overnight
Step 3
Ask your child to stick on the googly eyes
Step 4
Wrap the bandage around the roll and tie a knot to secure it. Use the scissors to trim any excess material.
