Writing with the senses

Writing

A piece of advice often given to young writers is to ‘write with the sense’. But what does this mean?

Poet and sound artist Antosh Wojcik brings this advice to life with these soundscapes. It encourages children to really listen to the sounds around them and use what they discover in their writing.

Antosh Wojcik is an artist and member of art house group fwrdmtn. His drumming and spoken word performance piece, How To Keep Time: A Drum Solo for Dementia, was produced by Penned in the Margins, which toured UK theatres and internationally in 2019 with support from The Arts Council, England.
