Make a mini zine about a drag queen

You will need:

  • Paper
  • Scissors
  • Something to write with

What to do:

  1. Fold your sheet of paper in half. Fold it in half again. Then fold the paper one more time so that it is folded into eighths.
  2. Open your paper so that it is only folded in half once. Cut halfway across the middle of the paper from the fold. When you open your paper, there should be a slit in the middle of the paper.
  3. Fold your paper in half lengthwise along the crease that has the slit. Hold the paper at both ends and push them in towards each other. The paper should fold together to form a small booklet.
  4. Design your zine. You can draw and write in your zine about drag queens, LGBTQ+ history, or anything else! For inspiration on what to include in your zine, check out these Pride month audio stories. Once you’re finished, share your zine with us online by tagging us in your post on Instagram.
