Activities to try together

While you watch the story together you could try some of these activities:

  • Talk about what's happening in the story.
  • Imagine what the voices of the different characters might sound like, and have a go at talking in a deep growly voice, or a high squeaky voice.
  • Think about how the different characters would be feeling, for example when they're trapped in a shopping basket, or stuck to the conveyor belt!

Superhero play:

After you have watched the story have a go at some of these superhero activities together:

  • Design and draw your own fruit or vegetable superhero character.
  • Make your character into a superhero puppet.
  • Make and decorate your own superhero mask or cape for superhero play.
  • Make up your own superhero story.
  • Do some superhero training to build those muscles and develop coordination, maybe you could build your own obstacle course.
